Happy Valentine’s Day!  These festive candles were found at a sale in an old farmhouse.  All of the items being sold were primitive and folk-art style, which is right up my alley.  My favorite thing about this sale though was that my dad was unexpectedly there.  Sarah and I pulled up and parked and when I saw the license plate of the car in front of me, I screamed, “MY DAD IS HERE!!"

Update from Sarah: It was as if Erin hadn’t seen her dad in 10 years, when in reality, she probably saw him two days before that. Also, we knew it was her dad’s car because he has a vanity plate that says JUSBCUZ. True story.

I can’t remember what I bought at that sale, but I remember it being dope. OH YEAH now I remember. I got a very cool old ornament that’s put away until next Christmas, and then a very cool Little Red Riding Hood carving. 

Actually, now that I look closer at it, that might just be an old lady, not Little Red Riding Hood. But whatever.
